Gather your pictures and scrapbook projects and come to the Delano/Franklin Township Hertiage Center and learn how to preserve your family history. On the Saturdays of Nov. 1, Dec. 6, Jan 10, Feb. 7, March 7, they will be offering a free class open to all ages. A lunch and snack will be provided.
Delano Detour Information For Highway 12
On April 8th the Highway 12 road construction project started in Delano. The work includes adding a center turn lane from the south side of the railroad overpass to Wright County Highway 139 and replacing the South Fork Crow River Bridge. Construction also includes city side streets, curb and gutters, sidewalks, water/sanitary sewers, street lighting and a water lift pump station. The bridge will be closed and the detour will be in effect from Monday, April 7 through Saturday, Nov. 15. Motorists will be detoured via Wright County Highway 139/County Line Road, Wright County Highway 30/70th Street Southeast, Wright County Highway 17/River Street and Wright County Highway 30/Bridge Avenue.
